Best Expense Tracker Apps for Singaporeans in 2026

Last updated: 2026-10-31

Ranked by how much each app records for you across Singapore banks, then by what that automation costs a year. We make Graiden, one of the apps on this list, so it is ranked by the same criteria as the others and its weak spots are listed with it. Most "best expense tracker" lists are written for Americans and recommend apps whose bank sync doesn't reach DBS, OCBC or UOB; every app here works with Singapore banks in some way. Seedly's app, once a common pick, closed on 31 December 2025, so it's no longer on this list.

Our Top Picks

#1

Dobin

Free Singapore money app that syncs your bank and card accounts

Best Free Bank Sync

Dobin is made in Singapore and is free. You connect DBS/POSB, UOB, OCBC, Citibank and Standard Chartered by signing in with your internet-banking login inside the app, and it pulls in balances and transactions, plus credit card tools such as the best card for your next purchase. The tradeoffs: you hand over your bank login, data isn't real time (you refresh), Maybank cards can't connect, Trust Bank only works by statement import, and it's mobile only. Dobin says it is not currently regulated by MAS.

Strengths

  • Free, with no paid tier
  • Syncs Singapore bank and card accounts, including DBS/POSB, UOB, OCBC, Citibank and Standard Chartered
  • Credit card tools: best card for your next purchase, MCC lookup and due-date reminders
  • Can import bank or card statements as PDF

Limitations

  • You sign in with your internet-banking login to connect accounts
  • Mobile only (iOS and Android); no web app
  • Data isn't real time; you refresh your accounts
Price: Free (earns referral commissions on cards, loans and discounts)Visit Dobin →
#2

Spendee

Budget and expense tracker with shared wallets and optional bank sync

Best Paid Bank Sync

Spendee's Premium plan syncs bank accounts, and its Singapore list includes DBS, OCBC, UOB, Standard Chartered, CIMB and American Express. It runs on iOS, Android and the web, has shared wallets, and Premium (roughly US$22.99 to US$35.99 a year) costs about the same as Graiden Pro or more. Bank sync needs the top plan; the free Basic plan is manual with one cash wallet and one budget.

Strengths

  • Bank sync on Premium, with DBS, OCBC, UOB, Standard Chartered, CIMB and Amex listed for Singapore
  • Shared wallets for partners or flatmates
  • iOS, Android and a web version
  • 7-day free trial on paid plans

Limitations

  • Bank sync needs the top Premium plan
  • Free Basic plan allows 1 cash wallet and 1 budget
  • Linking a bank means connecting your bank account
Price: Free Basic; Plus $14.99/yr or $1.99/mo; Premium (bank sync) $35.99/yr or $5.99/moVisit Spendee →
#3

Graiden

Expense tracker that reads your bank-alert emails and e-receipts, with no bank login

Our app · No bank login

Graiden (our app) records purchases from the transaction-alert emails Singapore banks already send (DBS/POSB, PayLah!, UOB, OCBC, Standard Chartered, Citi and Trust) and from e-receipts, without your bank login. It ranks third because it only sees what your bank emails you about (cash still needs typing), automatic reading is free for only the first 7 days, and after that you type purchases in yourself unless you get Pro, and there's no iPhone app (web and Android only). Pick it if not handing over a bank login matters to you, or you bank with Trust.

Strengths

  • On Pro (and free for the first 7 days), no typing: forwarded bank alerts and e-receipts are logged and categorized for you (unlimited)
  • No bank login or account linking, on any plan
  • Reads Singapore bank alerts from DBS/POSB, PayLah!, UOB, OCBC, Standard Chartered, Citi and Trust
  • Works with any email provider and any purchase receipt

Limitations

  • Free plan reads forwarded emails automatically for only the first 7 days; after that it's manual entry unless you pay for Pro
  • No bank sync: it only sees purchases that send an alert email or e-receipt, so cash needs manual entry
  • Web and Android apps only; no iPhone app on the App Store (on iPhone you use the web app)

#4

DBS digiWealth (formerly NAV Planner)

DBS's planning tool inside the digibank app

Best for DBS/POSB Customers

If you bank with DBS or POSB, digiWealth (the former NAV Planner) is already inside the digibank app, with no fee listed. It shows your net worth including CPF, investments and loans, and through SGFinDex can bring in accounts from other banks. It ranks fourth because DBS now presents it as a wealth-planning tool rather than an expense tracker, it's only for DBS/POSB customers, and DBS describes its spending categories only on older NAV Planner pages.

Strengths

  • Already inside the DBS digibank app; nothing to install
  • Net worth view including CPF, investments and loans
  • SGFinDex can bring in accounts from other banks
  • Insurance and retirement planning tools

Limitations

  • Only for DBS/POSB customers
  • Now positioned as a wealth tool more than an expense tracker
  • Cash spending isn't captured

#5

Money Lover

Simple expense tracker popular across Southeast Asia

Best Manual Tracker

Money Lover is popular across Southeast Asia and handles SGD and every other currency, useful if you travel in the region. Its paid Linked Wallet add-on (from S$3.48 a month, separate from Premium) connects banks in several Southeast Asian countries including Singapore, but Money Lover doesn't list which Singapore banks, so we can't say how much it records here. Without it you log spending yourself. The free version allows one wallet and shows ads; Premium is a S$29.98 one-time purchase.

Strengths

  • Quick manual entry and a clean mobile interface
  • All currencies, with up-to-date exchange rates
  • Shared wallets for couples or groups
  • Premium is a one-time purchase

Limitations

  • Free version is limited to one wallet and shows ads
  • Bank sync is a separate subscription, not part of Premium
  • Which Singapore banks Linked Wallet supports isn't listed publicly

How to Choose

First decide whether you'll give an app your internet-banking login. If yes, Dobin syncs the major Singapore banks for free, and Spendee Premium adds shared wallets and a web app. If you'd rather not, Graiden (our app) reads the alert emails your banks already send, for the price of Pro. If you bank with DBS/POSB and care most about net worth, digiWealth is already in your banking app. If you prefer to log spending yourself, Money Lover is quick and handles multiple currencies.

Common questions

Do these apps support SGD?
Yes. Dobin and DBS digiWealth are built for Singapore. Graiden reads amounts and currencies from your bank alerts and receipts. Spendee and Money Lover let you track in SGD alongside other currencies.
Which expense tracker works with DBS, OCBC and UOB?
Dobin syncs all three (plus Citibank and Standard Chartered) through your banking login, for free. Spendee Premium lists all three for bank sync. Graiden reads the alert emails all three send, without a login. DBS digiWealth is for DBS/POSB customers, with other banks through SGFinDex.
What happened to the Seedly app?
Seedly discontinued its app, including the expense tracker, on 31 December 2025 and deleted app expense-tracking data after 31 March 2026. The Seedly website and community are still running. Former Seedly users looking for a tracker can start with Dobin (free bank sync) or the other apps here.
Can I track hawker centre and cash expenses?
Cash has to be entered by hand in every app here. If you pay hawkers by card, PayNow or PayLah!, bank-synced apps see the transaction, and Graiden reads the alert email if your bank sends one.
Is there a free expense tracker that works in Singapore?
Dobin is free, with bank sync. DBS digiWealth lists no fee for DBS/POSB customers. Money Lover (one wallet, with ads) and Spendee (one cash wallet) have free manual plans. Graiden's free plan reads forwarded emails automatically for 7 days, then it's manual entry.
Why don't popular US apps like Monarch or Copilot work well in Singapore?
Copilot works with US-based accounts only, and Monarch with US and Canadian (USD or CAD) accounts only, so neither connects to DBS, OCBC or UOB, and neither appears on the Singapore App Store. Apps built for or covering Singapore, like Dobin, Spendee and DBS digiWealth, or Graiden's email-based approach, avoid that problem.

Expense tracking that does itself

Set up auto-forwarding once and every purchase is logged and sorted for you. No bank login, no typing, no spreadsheets. Free to start.
